It wouldn't be smart for him to put on much extra weight as he'd still be the naturally smaller guy in this fight and it would slow him down. Also, he'll need to be ready to go back down to 47 for his next fight as I'm fairly certain he will assuming he wins.
he looked like a dried vegetable in the sun, I think he should go up to 160 where he belongs, and fight GG
lww against mw he wins and everyone will say the catchweight was the issue. Truth is he is doing what no other ww can, beat Alvarez
If Floyd were to put on 15 pounds between weigh in and the fight, he would get KO'd, probably in the first 4 rounds. :yep
You continue to bury your head further up your ass the minute Canelo is mentioned:-( Whether or not Canelo rehydrates properly by fight time is anther story but anyone claiming he did not look drained at the weigh-in is either blind or a total idiot. Take your pick:deal
cotto 145 for paq. chavez jr 158 for sergio hopkins 156 for delahoya. none every complaining of being drained. now since since i am providing facts as opposed to bullshi-t kindly do the forum a favor and... STFU.
No, Floyd looked fine. He almost looked as good as both Cano and Theophane. That fight is going to steal the show. A true war!
I thought Floyd looked very good. In fact, it looked like he bilked-up a bit. I think he's physically 100%.
I have not been on here for a while so I don't know who is hating on who. I just finished watching he weigh-in and Floyd looks fine, but Canelo looks a bit drained. His stomach is way to ripped. You need that thin coating of fat to cover up. Body punches are going to hurt much more. I want Floyd to win, but I would also like for him to get humbled. So Canelo has to take care of business in the first half of the fight or he is going to tire out and get stopped. I wish them both luck and hope no one gets hurt.
