Anyone who had that fight close needs to get their head checked because FLoyd dominated that fight from the opening bell.

Only time DLH was effective was using his rough housing tactics but that only came with experience in the game.

DLH v Floyd wasn't a young guy versus an older guy because they're only 4 yrs apart in age ... that **** gets thrown out the window ... especially considering the time that both spent in the game (10yrs +) and the multiple championships they had ... going along with 18+ championship fights at the time.

 

See thats where you got it wrong bro ... if I were to come in there with a mindset that this man couldn't hurt me ... he would have to knock me out to prove me wrong .... other than that, i'm going to stay aggressive and press the issue.

It wasn't like the advantage in speed was that much of a distance ... Oscar at his age still posses alot of hand speed.

 

man 9-3 is hardly a ****ing SD and 8-4 (if you're being generous) is still not a SD.

You really think that? DLH knew Floyd could hurt him and he new that he couldnt take too many of those right hands flush like he did on the ropes.

DLH stopped punching after that shot bc he needed to get his head together. DLH was trying to land that Left against Floyd's right, but a straight punch is getting there faster than a hook....especially speaking of FLoyd Mayweathers speed.

DLH did the SMART thing....other fighters would have tried to continue to load up and beat Floyd on the ropes.....DLH the intelligent fighter he is, decided to take the "L" durin that mini battle and win the next. Both men had their spots where they won mini battles in that fight, but ultimately the war was won by Floyd.

 

On the replay special ... Merchant said that Floyd had won the fight clearly and that there was no reason why this fight should happen again and as a fan he didn't want to see it.

Lampley said on the replay special that many fans were judging with their hearts and that the victory was a clear one for Floyd Mayweather.

Steward said that Floyd won the fight during the night of the fight.

It's not Old vs Young, but PRIME vs Past Prime. To say that DLH is as good as he was in 2002 or 2003 is not only untrue, but borderline ******ed. 4yrs in a sport like boxing is like a lifetime....the trianing for one is extreme in regards to what their body's go through and the fights are brutal. For guys like floyd and DLH they are good enough to avoid too much damage in fights, but thier training camps are HELL.
