No, I feel the same way about him. People say you either love money may or you hate him. Well I don't love him or hate him. I admire him for everything he's achieved, his talent, confidence, hard work, the way he wants to provide for his kids and make sure they never have to work for nobody in their life etc. I look up to the dude in a lot of ways. I don't even think he's a bad guy, even though he trash talks a lot. I think most of it is all good fun and people take him too seriously. I think he's resume is crazy too, and maybe only Pac's resume is better, but I'm not sure about that.

He's still an annoying mother****a though and I want him to lose most times he fights. Judging from their last two fights, I'm not so sure about my boy Pac's chances now. I'll tell you this, if Pac fights the way he fought against Cotto and Clottey, he gets an ass whooping. He needs to go back to the head movement, and in and out movement like he first did against David Diaz.

not a fan, but i respect his abilities more and his claims to be the greatest ever (even though he is not).

Before last night, I would of placed him as top 25 ATG, now I would have him top 15.

Also before last night I would of given him40% chance of beating pacquaio now I would give him about 55%

I said before and say it again your a legend mate. Your posts bring tears to my eyes.

I like Floyd and i love his hardwork and dedication. He is a role model in terms of being a supreme athlete. His actions outside the ring for me cannot take away from his greatness inside of it.

I been a Floyd fan since i was a kid and always will be.

I'd have both of them in a top 30.

The bias toward fighters from days gone by in boxing is staggering.

The sport has moved forward, people don't fight every three weeks over 15 or 20 rounds..... in any case, not every fight was a world class fight.

Each of Floyd & Pac's last 20 opponents - barring the odd one here or there - would be described as world class..... the only blemish being the loss to Erik Morales.... who was guess what - world class.

Great fighters are great fighters, and would adapt to any era, the same with footballers, rugby players and cricketers.

I agree with parts of your post, but you also have to judge the 'old timers' on how their opposition was ranked at the time. Take Rocky Marciano for example, I have him higher than Mike Tyson and Riddick Bowe, two relatively 'new' fighters, on my all-time heavyweight list, but I would pick them to handily beat Marciano in a H2H match-up. He is higher than them mainly due to the opposition he fought and beat.

I think right now Pacquiao could possibly sneak into the top 30, but I would have Mayweather outside right now.

That's a fair point, again I'd go along with pretty much all of it.

In my opinion there really isn't a right answer.... the one thing I would say is that fractured titles do make it easier for relatively average fighters to have good careers.

But shove an average (relatively speaking) fighter in with a great one like Mayweather or Pacquiao and they will be chewed up and spat out accordingly - David Diaz, Judah etc.

In terms of your example, I agree with that. Both Bowe and Tyson would beat Marciano handily - it's when people start picking the likes of Marciano to beat Lewis/Tyson/Holyfield/Bowe that I start to wonder what the **** is going on
