He made the decision to accept Ricky so he has to deal with the consequences that come with it. This will definitely hurt him but he can erase it by bringing out someone worth mentioning in the future.

I think he acted like a shild throught the whole promotion and then threw his fighter under the bus in the middle of a fight. Yeah I'd say he lost some credability.

YEah he also said one of the most assenine things I have ever heard said to a fighter...that whole "you should have been listening to me from the start" comment basically showed that he had no faith in his own fighter and (this is the important one) was more concerned with his own reputation then anything else. What an ass.

Bottom line - The best at anything in the world isn't late because they're going to Taco Bell.

That's just the mark of an amatuer.

In bussiness and in a lot of professional environments there's a hunny moon period at the beginning of professional relationships where everyone is trying there hardest to be professional and considerate and but after awhile things normalize and everyones true personalities come out. Its a pretty common phenomena. Pretty sure thats what happened here.

Floyd turned into twice the ass and started thinking he could get away with **** like smacking his fighter's head with the pads. And Ricky went back to being brick headed Ricky and didn't respond very well to that.

I dont think Rick has the physical and mental makeup to suddenly become a cutie in the ring. Its not whats in his Marrow, he is a straight up slugger who brawls and turning him overnight into Willie Pep is asnine....it takes more than two fights. Sr seems to have a disfunctional personality and the Hatton Mayweather combo was never going to work its just not a good fit any idiot can see this.

Nah i didn't think so. Hatton was TOO overly aggressive just like how he always is. Actually he looks EXACTLY the same hatton.

He lost absolutely no credibility with me. Hatton choose to take the advice of his other trainer Lee Beard over Mayweather and then threw him to the dogs. He disrespected Mayweather after a reported behind the scenes power struggle instigated by Beard and in turn Mayweather stopped caring and started showing up late etc.

Lee Beard is an oaf and his inappropriate behaviour and Billy Graham style coaching set Hatton back several steps and cost him dearly in the ring against Manny.

Mayweather must have been completely bewildered by Hatton's (lack of) tactics on fight night but to his credit gave good advice after the first round. However with Beard talking over him and having Ricky's attention this advice obviously fell on deaf ears.

The weird thing is I don't thing Hatton actually cared too much and has been very nonchalant about events since.

In short - Hatton and Beard disrespected Mayweather and paid the price.

Beard is a w@nker and the former Hitman can now retire and pile on the pounds whilst counting his multi-millions.

He couldn't have lost any credibility with me because I thought he was a **** trainer to begin with.

Agree...........Hatton just can't get his mind around the game. He's not a "thinker" he's a brawler and that will get you knocked out most of the time.

Yeah he lost it maybe in this fight, maybe in the eyes of many. But it should nt put all the blame on him coz it's stil up to the fighters. The only mistake he taught hatton is to get over confident i think...IMO.

Rightly or wrongly, I think Floyd Sr has certainly lost some credibility, yes.
