Reach had nothing to do with why Mosley landed that straight right. Mayweather's defense is to pick off jabs with his right glove and counter. His defense against straight rights and hooks is leaning back and putting his chin against his shoulder. That ONLY works if you keep your distance well (which is why shoulder roll is so hard to do). Nazim taught Mosley to jab to the body and if you noticed I think he jumped in with it too so that he could plant himself close enough to fire that right hand.

Thing is, Mayweather saw that coming every time after and Mosley didn't know what to do.

true he got away with it once but couldnt be fooled twice he is so good at figuring out his opponents and ad******g but he gets no credit

floyd outr foxes moseley figures him out after 2 rounds has him in the palm of his hands and we say moseley is old shot past it but we should say floyd is just that good

who else could dominate moseley like that nobody

No way. I expected Mosley to consistently come forward and pressure Floyd more throughout this fight. I didn't think Floyd was going to be as aggressive on the offense as he was. I didn't think he was going to breeze through the fight and dominate it as easily as he did.

    right!!!

I mean i thought may would win by ko because i expected him to come foward and be aggressive against mosley......in order to throw mosley off and catch him off guard because mosley was preparing for the opposite

now i was wrong about the ko....which i wasn't surprised because i had no basis for that prediction besides a feeling that i had....the UD was the obvious outcome..

but it seems like people are missing the point of the thread

for most people it ended the way they expected but it did not go the way most people expected...

most people expected mayweather to outbox mosley keeping distance..not out muscle and outbox mosley standing in the pocket and coming foward...

    Im just saying

No not at all.. I thought Mosley would let his hands go... One of the best recent combination punchers... Top and Bottom...

Yes, but the only thing that surprised me was that he looked even stronger physically than Mosley, that was shocking. PBF is now a full fledged WW.

Also didn't expect PBF to push the action, that was also shocking.

Yeah, Mosley being so tense and not being able to relax was shocking.

no..i expect more attack from mosely and more defense from floyd..but it was strange..floyd was the one working the offense after the second round and mosely became 38 years old..he just stopped attacking..but i expected floyd to win that one though, but not in that manner.

I had parralleled Mosley fight with Margarito with Duran's vs Barkley.......and I added that any skill fighter with speed would make Mosley look like the 38 year old fighter that he was, just as Leonards speed baffled Duran in their third encounter, the fight after the Barkley fight.

I said that Mayweather would dominate, and that Mosley's only chance was to land a lucky shot.

I had it guaged pretty good I feel.:D

The most shocking thing was how bad Mosley looked. The second most shocking was how strong Floyd looked.

floyd 8-4 shane but it didnt. my prediction was mosley has to show his aggressivenes in the first quarter of the fight and should hit floyd flush (w/c he did in the second rd) but if he could not keep this up to the later rds, he's in deep**** coz floyd would figure him out and pull an 8-4 win. too bad mosley's too gassed up and could not even throw a meaningful punch to floyd in real fight.
