Did Floyd Pull A Hopkins In The Ortiz Fight?

We all know Floyd is not a big puncher BUT he got 2 free shots and I think almost any boxer could KO someone with 2 free shots while the opponent is not looking and his body is relaxed! Just sayin..


PS: The KO was real, Ortiz couldn't get up.

I dissagree...Floyd has been sitting on his punches more and more, and he was winding his punches up so much...and even throwing wild aggressive wreckless punches in some sequence, which I love...its shows that u want to do damage...When Floyd hit Ortiz, Ortiz was GONE...He didnt even know where he was, and I dont think he is smart enough to fake it as good...his legs where like jelly, and Floyd basically exploded and hit him harder than he ever hit anyone...look at the impact, and look at how Floyd's left hook, knocked Ortiz's enTIRE body to the side, then the right basically crushed his chin into his skull...Ortiz got KO'd...This is why he crying, complaining for a rematch...if he could have gotten up, he would have because he thought he was going to find away...my thoughts

 

I dissagree slugthug...Floyd is not a BIG puncher like Pacman who can ko u with one shot...but Floyd fights like a puncher...he throws one shot at a time, because he's aiming with power shots..and he affectively backs you up with these big shots..and his accuracy adds to the power

 

Dude.. Floyd sat on his punches because Ortiz was defenseless! ...atsch I made a thread on this before.. Floyds feet left the ground on that 2 piece! When Floyd throws during the fight he doesn't put as much power on his punches because he gets back in a defensive position. It's common knowledge.. Go on YouTube and study Floyd more, you might learn something son! :hi:

 

Yeah Floyd was so scared, that Ortiz was the one trying to hug kiss and apologize.

 

I will admit Floyd does seem a bit stronger these days but he is by no means a power puncher. Slightly above average at best.

 

Go back and really look at the end of of the third round. If you watch closely you will see that Ortiz just needed a way out. Notice how Ortiz would get hit every time the faced off with almost no effort from Mayweather. Then look at his (Ortiz) demeanor as he walked to his corner after the third round.

 

No he was toying with Ortiz stretching the fight along to make Ortiz look better than he truly was, but he was so pissed off over the head butt, Floyd decided to crack that glass jaw with one of his most viscous Straight rights Floyd ever threw, then take his 40 million and go home, simple as that

 

Defintely one of the hardest punches he's thrown since earlier in his career he left his feet and all, If anybody don't think Floyd has power they need to rethink that Statement when Ortiz was close to a SMW, that was a dude who9 was taking Berto's best shot's and kept coming forward

 

He needed a way out cause he was getting hurt badly and not expecting Floyd to be stronger and walk him down. If the 3rd round was a min longer Ortiz would of got Ko'ed cause he was on ***** street and back peddling after a laser straight right

 

WRONG...LMAO...Floyd is sitting on his punches more because when he fought Mosley the commentators where talking about him throwing fast flashy shots....and Floyd wanted to be more aggressive because everyone says he's not aggressive enough...THIS is common knowledge...all you can do is speculate about why he did this or that...we all KNOW why he's been fighting aggressively because he wants to be more exciting and do more damage..LOL...u told me to study more...You made yourself look dumb just by saying that because its nothing to study..LOL

Back to the topic at hand, That ending was not boxing related, it was target practice on a defenseless opponent.. The only reason Floyd is getting a pass from most boxing fans is because Ortiz threw that headbutt..
