yahoo ranked floyd number 1 after dominating mosley. i think they think that a win over mosley is better than a cotto win. and im being sarcastic!
They were equally impressive in my opinion. There are arguments for each side (Cotto was shot, Mosley was old/inactive) but the truth is both were damn impressive. Mayweather and Pacquiao each lost a single round against two top fighters who were bigger than they were.
Explain it since from the diagram below, it's very clear Floyd was not able to overtake Pacquiao. :huh This content is protected
The win over JMM was huge as far as perception goes, because the #1 guy had two wars with JMM. It would seem to me that Mayweather fought JMM as a build up to a Pac fight.
only idiots thinks floyd decisioning a lightweight jmm is much better than a hatton stoppage in 2, clottey decision or cotto stoppage in 12. what more those who thinks those 3 are inferior to floyd decision of jmm at welter?
That's because, according to many people here, Floyd isn't suppose to beat anyone he isn't signed to fight. However, once he signs the contract, he's the favorite with the media, the people, and Vegas. Once he signs the contract, there is no reasonable fight Floyd can take where is isn't "suppose to beat" said fighter.
nah, imo pac's stoppage of cotto is a little more impressive than floyd ud of mosley. also no way floyd's decision of jmm at welter is almost as good as pac stoppage of hatton in 2 at 140. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=223559
i'm just being friendly to floyd fans. that diagram showed the most floyd had done and it's still not enough to topple PAC from the top spot.
