:rofl That's my man! We've always had conflicting stances on some issues in this sport but you always keep in 100. I respect that and I know you know this sport b/c you do give facts and LOGICAL reasoning to support your stance.....but we ain't always gonna agree. But you are an ass hole! Which ain't a bad thing b/c I turn that on myself when necessary.

I don't think Floyd wanted to fight Mosley. Why? Well Floyd has made that pretty clear over the last year.

-He said Mosley has 5 losses

-He said he wasn't a PPV attraction

-He also wished Mosley "the best of luck in his career" this past fall. Now Mosley is his next fight? Doesn't wash.

These are not the actions of a guy who wanted to fight Mosley. However, since Berto pulled out Mosley is the best option, and Floyd's options for a big money fight are limited.

Think about it. Why did Golden Boy trot out the names like Malignaggi, Hatton, Campbell, Cintron etc? Earlier this month it seemed like every day there were rumours of one of these guys Floyd was supposed to fight.

The media/fans bashed these names and Golden Boy soon found out these names were not acceptable to the public. I think Floyd realizes now, he can no longer put on another glorified sparring session at the publics expense. He realizes now, he can't spin another no hoper into a legitimate challenge. He also realizes now, his balls are getting called into question.

The Mosley fight is the only fight he can take now.

I think the only reason a lot of Floyd's rediculous demands arent being leaked to the media, is because both he and Mosley are both under GBP and have no rival promoter leaking the stuff out. I'm sure the official announcment hasnt been made thus far do to Floyd and his primadonna ways.

He's wanted to fight Shane for years. Ever since he was at 135.

This is amazing, up to even a couple of days ago most people said that Floyd was going to duck Mosley. Now that the fight is on the verge of being made, he's now all of a sudden forced to fight him. How come everyone wasn't saying this a few days ago? So I guess if he doesn't fight someone from now on, he's ducking them. Anyone he does fight he's either cherry picking or he's being forced to fight.

it doesn't matter who fighters want to or don't want to fight. All that matters is who they do fight and how they perform against them.

That's how i see it. He ducked / she ducked doesn't matter.

I don't think he wanted to fight Mosley and would happily finish his career without fighting him.

I don't think it's because he's scared as some suggest, I think he holds a grudge because Shane wouldn't give him the match he wanted when he was coming up through the divisions, now Mosley wants the big pay day which fighting Mayweather would bring.

Floyd knows this, so wouldn't fight him out of spite.

NO. Floyd will be forced to fight Shane. He has no other viable option at this moment.
