Nah. That wasn't the rope a dope. It was Floyd fighting off the ropes when Miadana would force him to them. Floyd fought Marcos's fight but ending up grabbing a decision. It was a great effort by both and expect the rematch to be just as exciting.

Like Ali Floyd went to the ropes willingly and stayed there for long stretches. And just like Foreman, Chino got tired and was wide open for counters. It wasn't just Chino swinging at air though that made him tired, Floyd did great work on Maidana's body, that jab and many hooks found its target. Likewise Chino's body work which included a mix of legal shots and fouls to Floyd's legs , back, thighs, and even his nuts where Maidana hit him several times could of slowed down Mayweather's footwork.

I had Floyd winning 8-4 but Maidana put up a good effort, however he did bend the rules a little too much for my liking. Anybody else find that chopping right hand Maidana throws borderline illegal?

Ali did watch the fight, congratulated Floyd and said bring on Pacquiao...Ali see's no controversy with the decision in this fight.
