He may be bi-polar, though I don't know if he has any manic symptoms. But he certainly looks to have NPD.

HELLLLL YEAH! he is the most openly bi polar person I have seen in any sport. It is part of the reason he is so good at boxing. The way he trains, the way he reacts differently to different people. Like he said, nobody knows the real Mayweather. The guy is dealing with some demons yall and he is open about it which is a good thing. If you look how Ellerbe treats him you could see that. Bi polar people are always crucified in the world and its not there fault. I see that **** all the time.

His boxing and training habits is his mania. Trust. Thats what bi polar people do. Get up in the middle of the night and run 5 miles to stay ahead of the competition. They are perfectionist in what they do good and stick to it. Floyd is handling very well as he beat the first demon of not worrying what people think of him. Trust me, he ONLY wants people to like him. He is not a bad guy yall. After the Baldomir fight I knew for sure. That breakdown at the end and Ellerbe told him not to wear his heart on his sleeve and he straigtend up.

Mania's are not consistant, like PBF's training which he does constantly. He would go up and then come down and the episodes could be very lengthy or short with altering traits. It's not the same thing. Many athletes are perfectionists. He would also not have the concentration to train in a manic state, as people with this often are easily distracted.

He certainly seems to have NPD though. He may have other symptoms of emotional disorders. But no one can diagnose him with anything with the very little we see of him.

I would be willing to bet everything that I own that Floyd's dad beat his ass for no reason. My dad isn't half as crazy as Floyd Sr., and I got quite a few ass whoopins for no good reason. Trust me, he's telling the truth.

I think the haters have gotten the best of Floyd..this explains why he is what he is now...

I remember him in his first fights..he was always confident but likable..
But he really got too much hate from fans...he never understood this..because its his style

The never appreciated his style..He can be impressive and get bashed the same way

Now hes had too much and says **** with all this...I make the money and everyone can ****in hate and I'll keep winning raking the dough and act like an ass

Im serious..this is why Floyd is like this..he was never appreciated like an RJJ yet RJJ was just as guttermouth as Floyd ever was...

Now hes gone to a point of no return..sad to say

That may be true indeed, but it will not save Hatton from the beating he gets on Dec. 8.

Ohh I dont see Hatton winning barring he puts poison in Floyd post weigh in meal...

But you can see Floyds psyche progression throughout the years.

I mean his metamorphosis is caught in youtube.

He was not bad in the beginning..he actually tried to please people and then slowly ...

Merchants post fights interviews...bad press...just read the damn chatrooms...

    all the hate really..

    **** I was a hater

but now hes gone the deep end..I mean you see him in DWTS..hes like a little child..so ****in insecure

I bet if people cheers him and be more positive...hes not that bad..

    hes so damn bitter now

    Thats the key word "early"..

I swear my eyes and ears werent lying to me..the kids confident but they just killed him from the get go..

and this is when floyds barely in his 20's It must have affected his psyche

I mean check out his early fights..the smile..very sincere ..confident yes but he had to be. Interviews were nothing to suggest that the man is a ass

How frustrating was it to beat hernandez , eugustus, manfreddy in a dominant fashion and he was already being called boring..I mean what can the man do??

The Bruseles fight was funny too. Larry Merchant was on super hater mode that fight. He was saying all kinds of **** and Floyd was kicking this guys ass. Same with the Sharmba fight.

Larry killed him with teh mitchell fight..funny thing is I think Floyd looks up to Larry for validation and then Bam!!!

I mean just check the baldo post fight..Floyd was answering fine but you know hes waiting for the Larrys punchline ...and he says "Larry youve always given me a hard time" this stays with Floyd he remembers...

I agree with much of your assessment. PBF seems to both want love and admiration from the people, and to **** them off at the same time.

Bitterness is definetly a factor in his behavior. He just better control that **** when gets in the ring. The moment he brings it into the ring, he will get his first loss.
