    1.)Margarito was a bonefied cheater. and was a ordinary fighter, mosely proved that..
    2.)P-will was avenging a loss to quintana.
    3.)Cotto was fighting shane while floyd was fighting hatton..cotto signed to fight gomez as a tuneup for an already signed fight with cheato...floyd was considering a rematch with oscar for september..cotto lost, then floyd retired.. so there were never any real negotiations for a floyd/cotto fight ever....besides cotto lost...:deal
    4.) and clottey???that dude that lost to margarito and cotto, that clottey??? whos that doe??:rofl:rofl his biggest win is over a blown up chico, and loss to Baldomir:deal:rofl

    Of course. Avoiding the guys who have the style to beat you will not only lengthen your career, it will also make it much easier to keep that "0" on your record.

    I mean, Sergio Martinez made the mistake of fighting Antonio Margarito, and it hurt his career. Floyd watched this fight and decided he would never fight relentless stalkers like Margarito or Paul Williams:

    He fought Hatton for god sake.

    As much as I like Ricky the person he simply isnt that level , at 147 anyway.

    No and on top of that Floyd made sure to see Hatton at Welter 1st to see if he could still be strong enough at it to do what he does with the inside rough stuff and he saw Hatton struggle then thought yeah i will fight him.
