Ortiz was going to melt down at some point in that fight. If it had gone longer he would have done something else. The guy is mentally weak and should never be allowed near a boxing ring again.

The only fight that I wouldn't be against for Ortiz would be Rios. Some real bad blood there.

Floyd hasn't ruined anything but his children's chances at NOT being assholes...

Eye for an eye. The rats here will point out the "cheap" shot retaliation but not the "cheap" superman head butt moments before that.

I liked Ortiz, and I despise how the fight ended, but Ortiz is an idiot and ruined his own career. From bailing out on Roberto Garcia to work with Garcia's brother, to quitting like a beeatch against Nate Campbell, to trying to headbutt Floyd so blatantly and then getting KO like an fool.

the purse he got from the mayweather fight and the reality show softened him up.

Ortiz was starting to get into his groove, landing some good shots here and there until he buckled under pressure, which wasn't entirely easy to predict because he was flying high with confidence after the Berto fight. But Had he been able to control his emotions , he could have made it very interesting indeed. Especially late.

I think he was a bit mentally weak from the beginning tbh.

I'm sort of on the fence about that seeing how he reacted in the Maidana fight, and how redeemed himself in the Berto War. Nobody really thought he was going to bite down and fight the way he did against Berto, much less win that fight! Then he pulled the debacle in the Floyd fight..
