The question wasn't whether to justify the cheap shot. I personally found it hilarious. The question stated whether you thought it ruined Ortiz's career?

Lamont Peterson was one of the top LWW's in the world when Ortiz outboxed him to a robbery draw. Berto was a top 3 WW at the time and the WBC champ when Ortiz outhustled him.

Ortiz was a WORLD level talent before the sucker punch, anyone with eyes could see that. He went from beating world level, top fighters to getting his jaw broken by a journeyman lightweight and a shot Luis Collazo. Do you think that has to do with the sucker punch?

The question wasn't justifying his cheap shot, it was pretty funny to me, it also received huge press and shocked the boxing world, making Floyd into an even bigger villain.

Did that two piece ruin Ortiz's career?

Even if he showed strength at times, I saw too many signs of weakness from him overall by fighter standards. This makes me think it's just part of who he is.

And Adrien Broner is a 3 division world champion. Guerrerro a world champion, Collazo a champ etc. Point being anyone and everyone can and wins titles in this watered down day and age. Berto is trash! And he ko`d Ortiz recently so it shows how far Ortiz has fallen on his own without Floyds "Cheap shot". Speaking of i dont consider it a cheap shot. He apologized fIvd nodded his head, the ref said fight and Ortiz again went to hug and kiss floyd and got hit. Protect yourself at all times.

nah the money floyds opponents get from fights makes them soft... i mean tasting defeat is hard but those guys go in prob expecting to lose, they try there best but i think they always know its not going to be enough (maybe a few of his opponents like canelo or pac legit thought they could beat him but i think vast majority dont believe it).. they lose as expected and get a huge payday i dno about you but if i was putting in the hard yards for years and years and i got a payday like that id prob retire to, even at the amateur level the boxing game is ****ing hard on the mind and body

No, Ortiz was born with a glass jaw, that's what ruined him.
