Did FMJ actually say "catch weights are meaningless"?

Floyd CATCHweather changed his tone now that he has become the undisputed catchweight king. And *****s......well they will back up CATCHweather on whatever he decides to do and look for exuces too. I.E. "I quick search through google and nothing came up of Floyd saying that", " Canelo's camp offered the cw"

    Floyd's Catchweight Fights: 2
    Pacroid's Catchweight Fights: 3

Nope. The king still has his crown.

PS: Thank God for the re-instated quote button.

CATCHweather should have "0", afterall it was him saying that he dont fight at catchweights. For someone giving a lot of **** to Pac about catchweight, he sure does have a lot.

Everyone's on Floyd's ass for his catchweight hypocrisy but didn't Pac once shun OSDT and made his fans believe Floyd was using OSDT as a mask for witch hunting? So how come nobody is ridiculing Pac for making Rios go through random testing? The truth is both Pac and Floyd are hypocrites but it doesn't even matter since both are doing something good for the sport of boxing, especially Floyd. Seriously, go occupy your entire days with TMZ if all you care about is petty celebrity behavior. Either that or watch a different sport if you can't appreciate Floyd-Canelo and a guaranteed war like Pac-Rios.

    Cotto, Marquez III, Margarito.

I won't disagree. He's been a real hypocrite about it. He should have fought Marquez at 140 (or not at all if he couldn't make 140) and Canelo at 154. For two whole pounds he makes himself look like a total idiot.

Is there any possibility that canelo expressed that he would be comfortable at 152? Is there any link or vid where he said he wasn't?

That's the point. It's not about ragging on Mayweather or criticizing Mayweather. It's about Mayweather and GBP admitting who demanded the catchweight. Oscar DLH made it seem like it was Canelo's idea! But in reality, it was FMJ who needed the catch weight.

Canelo had no choice but to agree to Mayweather's demands, because he's the cash cow. Canelo is just appriciative of getting an opportunity to fight Mayweather, so he decided not to fight Mayweather on the catch weight. But that doesn't change the fact that Mayweather is the one that needs the catch weight, so he can drain Canelo a little bit and have a better shot at not getting knocked out.

    It's not just the 2 lbs, it's:
    a) going against his own statements in the past
    b) not respecting Canelo like he respected Cotto

Even if Canelo agreed to 152 because he thinks he can make that weight, it's still disrespectful to demand something like that out of Canelo who is the bigger man and both guys hold belts at 154. But what really bothers me is how DLH can spin it and make it seem like it was Canelo's idea. Mayweather says he's the best, and if your really the best, then you don't say one thing, then do the opposite, and if you're the best you definetly don't need a catch weight that puts pressure on the other fighter (not him since he's 146) to make the weight. There are weight classes for a reason, and even if Mayweather's the best, he's not above the sport itself and shouldn't be awarded any psychological advantage in a fight of this magnitude.
