Just rewached Holyfield vs Foreman first of comentary was very baised.

In final rounds Holyfield was holding very much and that ref did nothing about that, but did take point away from Foreman for low blows that was borderline.

I think Foreman ended Holyfields prime with that war. Dont think Holyfield was ever as good after that fight.

    I scored it 115-112 Holyfield.

    what you think?

lol! Holy improved for his rematch v Bowe, he also put on weight and credited that fight for showing him how to beat Tyson.

He used his mobility and counter punching skills to beat Bowe in their rematch who had far quicker hands than Foreman.

I don't think it was any one fight but I do think holyfields peak was earlier than a lot of others.

To me his best was when his feet were faster than his hands. Ali floated like a butterfly. Holyfield floated like a hummingbird.

So around qawi 1 thru Douglas or foreman is what I usually think of as his natural peak.

Holyfield’s peak fighting years for speed, power, mobility, stamina and tenacity etc were unquestionably 1988 to 1990. That Holyfield was a head to head nightmare for anyone.

Well lets look at this differently, after foreman he had bad outing vs Cooper and he had trouble with Holmes aswell, then he loses to Bowe. Performed worse aginst Steward secound time and got very close win aginst out of shape Bowe. Also i think fan man break gave Holy advantage. (Also Bowes wife was taken by ambulance i believe)

Then he loses to Moorer. (Maybe if fan man came in middle of that fight Holy would have won thay aswell.)

what i mean is that before foreman Holy looked so sharp. I think holy was in disbelief when Foreman was able to take it all and push forward.

i think this is very underrated performance by Holyfield also i believe it was the best Foreman we saw in his come back.

Foreman actually felt so bad about ruining Holyfield that he took it easy on Morrison later, to ease his guilty conscience. Foreman was a very sinful man, but make no mistake about it-he DID have a conscience.

I don't think George inflicted serious damage ... George won the night by going the distance but other than that and a couple of semi-decent moments but Evander won clean ... however, who knows how much stuff Evander took to bulk up and how it impacted him .. he clearly peaked w Douglas.
