Most of the time he just froze on his feet until the ref jumped in. I don’t think he came back from a knockdown in any fight. He was the best in the world in getting rid of second tier opposition. Good fighter but a long way from a great one.

Never got off the floor to win a fight.

Everytime he was seriously hurt. He ended up freezing and taking punishment, then the referee was forced to jump in and stop
    It.

His gas tank was very poor too. I don’t know what his training regime was but if he was fighting past the 8-9th rounds he was knackered.

    he never did

but he was knock down by Tyson in early seconds round 1 & continue & even give good punches back in same round. lost in 5

he was out on feet save by bell with Jumbo Cummings . but did return to break Cummings down. definitely save by bell Cummings very limited journeyman

Just watched the Cummings fight. Wow Bruno was completely out on his feet at the end of the first, a proper Price vs Povetkin style shut down - Literally saved by the bell.

Bruno showed his limitations in this fight, going backwards in straight lines and offering very little head movement. Did well to survive the 2nd round too as he took another loads of big punches

Always thought that knockdown could of been ruled a slip. From memory, Tyson cuffed him around the back of the neck and Bruno’s back foot slipped from under him. Bruno’s only real comeback in the ring was against Jumbo Cummings after he was completely out on his feet.

Yeah it was a grazing shot and like you say his leg slipped backwards, Tyson then landed one when he was down.
