Exactly, he didn't punch with that much force. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH FORCE IT TAKES TO BREAK SOMEONES NOSE?
Not much if hit correctly. I got "glanced" by a tiny dudes elbow at the bar a while back and my nose went crunch. Not much force involved, he hit it just right
They never use fake blood in wrestling any more. What do you think he did? Rolled onto the floor and squirted a bit of tomato sauce into his nose? Of course not. The only time they used fake blood was back in the 1970's, when they had to because it was considered too extreme for TV if it was real. That was only in certain parts of the world too, as blading has been used since the 1940's in Mexico and was common in Japan and the southern American territories during the 1960's. Any time you see a wrestler bleeding it's because they have been cut for real or used a blade. Anyway, Big Show has a history of problems with his nose. I've been watching him wrestle since he made his debut over a decade ago in WCW. He's broken it many times, so if you think it was a weak punch, maybe it's because it never healed properly. He rcently broke his orbital bone off a weak shot too, so for those thinking his bones are made of granie, think again. The thing with this thread is, people are arguing against it being real because they think the Mayweather fans act like he's superman over it. That's not the case. People can see it was obviously real, yet because it's Mayweather it can't be? It was real. Nobody is saying it was some superhuman punch that did it, but it was real.
Nope it was not meant to happen. Big Show stated after that he and Mayweather had it planned to not hit him in the nose but he could hit him anywhere in the face.
Exactly. The amount of force it takes to break the nose is low. I just want to see Ramshall pull a huge number out of his ass because he knows once he answers the question, his argument will become dull.
If that's true then it ties in with the point I made about his nose being a weak spot. It's broken a lot of times, so I don't think it has ever really healed. Why would he object to his nose being hit and not the rest of his face, unless it was a weakness?
As Big Show suffers from acromegaly, it's more likely that his bones would be weaker than a normal persons. He has taken medication to stop it, so he won't suffer as badly as another giant but his bones probably are weaker than yours or mine.
So in essence Big Shows nose can probably take the average to below average force to his nose before it breaks. Top that off with previous nose problems. Not wanting Mayweather to hit him there, then add in Mayweather is a professional boxer who's trained his whole life to throw perfect punches. The chances of Mayweather breaking Big Shows nose with that punch are what 95%?
I know I am. I've been drinking some Thunderbird Wine, and watching reruns of Sanford and Son, and Good Times, non-stop.
I reckon if they can accidently drop and kill someone entering the ring on a wire thing then they can accidently break someones nose in wrestling
