Did Frazier ever comment on a Marciano 'fantasy' fight?

Surely some of the 'experts' in the Classic Section would have
an inkling of such a subject was ever broached with Joe Frazier,
    who was a decent guy.

Not sure if he did but I believe he rated Rocky either 2 behind Louis all time HW Champs or 3 behind himself. Either way Joe had a ton of respect for Rocky. Rocky was the only fighter besides Joe to get a full size mural at Joe's gym.

Back then there was no internet and no ESB so there was not as much chirping about fantasy fights as there is nowadays

Rocky never called Joe a gorilla like Ali did, so Joe didn't hold anything against Rocky who was always gracious to his former opponents.

Not if u read joes actual biography. He talks all kinds of trash about several opponents and doesnt like giving people credit even when it was a close fight. Joes wasnt as outspoken and verbal as Ali but this idea tha Joe was quiet, humble, and never said anything bad about his opponents is dead wrong.

As for the thread, Joe had tons of respect for Rocky. When he attended his funeral, a reporter asked him how he'd do in a fight with Rocky and Joe actually got angry and told him he was there to pay respects to a great champion, not answer silly questions.

Is this the "biography" you are talking about?:
Smokin Joe: The Autobiography of a Heavyweight Champion of the World, Smokin' Joe Frazier Audio CD – Audiobook, CD, Unabridged
by Joe Frazier (Author), Phil Berger (Author)

No but he ranked Marciano above himself, and Ali ranked Marciano above Frazier, so I think there would be an obvious winner

Thing about Joe is that he was a brutally honest person and spoke his mind. He pulled no punches. He was a very confident man and you could feel all these characteristics when you spoke to him.
