with his cutting off the ring, his defense, his footwork, and what surprised me was his stamina he looked tired, maybe pac always needed real trainers and not just yes men.

Yes I agree..i noticed after the 3rd round he was breathing heavily... because the movements of Marquez.. wouldnt give him the angles he got so used to getting vs the come forward recent opponents hes been having...

I just feel bad for Marquez.. True Warrior.

They improved Pacquiao's existing talents, he is no doubt a phenomenon and a physical beast. His style beats most guys, he has excellent offense in the center of the ring, and is pretty good countering and moving around. So what's the deal?

He never learned how to cut off the ring! But I don't just fault him, the "experts" of today forgot some of the strengths of the past.

Marquez the peoples champ, boxing isn't just lunging like a wild animal, its a thinking mans sport

But pac really should evaluate his training staff, roach and ariza have not given manny new tools for him to box, and maybe are only in it for the money

Manny looked like he wanted to quit during certain points in the fight. I have no doubts in my mind Floyd will stop him.

Pacquiao outlanded JMM for the first time in 3 fights (and by a considerable margin). That doesn't count as some kind of improvement?

The Freddie Roach school of tactical boxing seems to be mostly comprised of perpetual movement with heavy emphasis on footspeed, handspeed, pugilistic fencing, combination power punching, and aerial pugilistic dog rolling. Pretty ****ing generic when it comes down to it. Worked horrors for Jorge Linares. Khan has made it look disgustingly repetitive and formulaic. Vanes the same. Pacquiao was made to look a ****ing fool against a thinker/reactor like Marquez yet again. And after everything that has supposedly gone on... Myth? Or legend? Peter Berg should have just made a documentary series about Freddie being Irish. It's all he cares about anyway.

If that had actually happened it might have. Marquez outlanded Pacquiao. Quit smoking crack and reading compubox.

The difference between the Morales I and JMM fights vs the Cotto, Margarito, DLH, Diaz, Hatton fights are that Morales I and JMM were not there to be hit round after round.
