He was ordered to a neutral corner, then danced his way to the other corner. But you Fury acolytes will probably say this video was edited as you do with every video which shows your boy got smashed to pieces and didn't make it back up in time This content is protected Now tell me where in the rules does it say that the fighter upon returning to his feet is then given an additional 10 seconds of recovery? Why did Jack let your hero walk and dance around the ring, before resuming the action, instead of following the actual rules and resuming the action straight away?
The amount of butthurt over such obviously manufactured outrage is astonishing. Delusion has no limits.
What’s you’re take on the seventh round with Wilder v Ortiz Sepiroth?i have no real opinion on it except to say that Pauline did mention the time after the break has finished, nothing against a doctor checking him out but should of been done in between rounds, you want an example of buying time when by rights Ortiz should of been able to go in for the kill albeit Ortiz was gassed there. In any case Sepiroth you should want a Wilder win to be conclusive, maybe you think it’s unfair as it’s very clear that Wilder wins fights by large KOs every time,it’s an incredible talent to do that and the Refs should be aware of this being his game plan but truth is we wasn’t party to what the Ref told em both about his style. Fury up on the count, looked solid as the legs don’t lie, perhaps a draw is how it should be.
There was no reason for the doctor to check Wilder out, it was farcical. I'm not going to pretend it was justified. Having said that, i highly doubt it had much bearing on the outcome since Ortiz had already threw everything he had at him at that point in the fight.
BS. Ortiz won the eighth round clearly and having Wilder back in the ring 10-15 seconds earlier after beating him to **** in the last 60 seconds of the seventh round COULD(!) have an massive impact on the outcome. I do not say it would have changed the outcome but obviously it has an impact if you have 60 seconds to recover or 75-80 after you got hurt badly and Wilder was hurt badly at the end of the seventh round.
Ok let's play devil's advocate. Let's pretend you are right and those additional 10 seconds saved Wilder, even though he never touched the canvas. Will you now concede the extra 10 seconds Fury was allotted so he could take a walk around the ring after being knocked out unconscious, had a massive impact on him surviving the rest of the 12th round?
The one heavyweight who hasn't touched the canvas, is the one who has supposedly the weakest chin. This is why when a post says ''glass chinned wilder is afraid of such and such'' I just switch off and refuse to take that individual seriously.
