Did Gatti deserve to be in the hall of fame?

    Yes. It's a Hall of Fame, not a Hall of Greatness.
    That's why writers, announcers, promoters, etc, can get inducted under special catagories.

    That's why guys like Mancini and Barry McGuigan get elected.

    Hamed was SEVERAL levels better than Gatti. They're not even in the same league.

    There are a couple of really undeserving guys in the HOF. The 2 names that come to mind who were recently selected are Arturo Gatti and Ray Mancini. Both guys absolutely don't have the resume/qualifcations to warrant their inductions.
