Did Gatti get scared

Yeah. Caught him off guard.

One of my favorite fighters.

 

Gatti had something bothering him months before fight. I sw an interview of him and Mayweather, and they were in differnt studios. It may have been Larry King, or some non-boxing type. Gy asked Floyd about cocaine trouble, Floyd made like that kid in school who when caught doing wrong, rat out others on spot. "Gatti got in trouble for coke, ask him!" was Floyd's answer. Instead of being pissed, Gatti seemed to be whining and kept saying, on air, 'C'mon Floyd, why did you do that" and 'It ain't my fault, I din't say anything about you."

Gatti was brave in ring, and no punk, so that was not what I expected. It came out late that he had girlfriend problem (not one who supposedly killed him, another one, playmate or stripper) and was depressed. Whatever it was, he acted like a *****. I admire him, don't like saying it, but he did. I knew then not to bet him, regardless of any odds I would get. Look at fight, Floyd hit him with foul, he turned to ref, took eyes off Floyd, got hit and looked iike he would cry. I don't see him scared of Floyd, I think he was afraid of something, who knows? His head was definitely not on right, I won't blame those fire*******s.
