Seems very skilled but the proof will be when he fights a world class fighter. Euro belt would be a good fight
At worst it was a flash knockdown. Gavin took a couple of rounds to figure out his opponent but after it was pretty one sided. Gavin has superb boxing skills, timing, foot movement are all world class. I think he is the type of fighter to fight to the level of his opponent and we'll only really know how good he will be once we see him in the ring with some top class opposition.
poor frankie he seems a nice kid and was a true world clas ameatur however he is one of this few boxers who simply cannot produce at pro what he did at ameatur and considering its been over 6 years since turning pro and hes still fighting at this level says it all , im not knocking the guy he has a family to feed and bills to pay but considering how skilled he was at ameatur he would be at world level and i dont mena competing but winning by now if he was going to follow up what he achieved as a kid
You're talking out your arse, quite frankly. Boxers are beholden to their promoters - if they appear to be stagnating at a certain level then it's due to lack of traction on the part of their promoters. We'll see how far Gavin can truly go once the bigger fights are made, which should be sooner rather than later now.
thanks for the comment about my ass i never knew you were so concerned about it but we live in a modern world where you lot can even marry each other! now with regards to your point the promoter who has invested heavily in him would only be putting him in with garbage if he knew he was nt top level like he originally thought he was , promoters do bring fighters along slowly in some cases but not 6 years slowly
Frankie has said himself that he's disappointed with the quality of his opponents, but will stay with FW as he is paid well which was a bit strange to hear. Had he stepped up a lot earlier he'd surely be making even more money?
stop this foreplay im not that kinda guy and if your comment was aimed at me not knowing that 6 years is to long to bring along a former ameatur champion then you must be kidding , surely fw and gavin did nt sit down 6 years ago and say this is the plan "within the next 6 years you will ave beat no one of any real credit and won pretty much fa and wont be at world level" if that was the plan then they it has worked to a t
Yeah sorry, I forgot: you must be a clairvoyant able to divine the mind of FW & co. Presumption masquerading as knowledge.
so do u think 6 years for a world ameatur to reach top domestic level indicated he is doing well? people have to have opinins i dont need to be privy to conversations regarding fw and frankie to deuce that his career has not progressed like it was meant to and unfortantly the reason for that is his abilty he has shown in fights , how on earth can you put him in at world level he is miles off that level and would get seriously exposed . which is a real shame as i had high hopes for the kid when he went pro
