Thanks.. Not sure what's changed since then though... I still don't think HBO and GBP will be doing much work together in the near future, if any.
it says the fact that they were exiling gbp wasnt true, so, either the article lied or someone else is lying
Good stuff. "Every promoter is welcome to do business with us. We will take a phone call from anyone." Sounds to me like they are ready when Oscar calls them to bid against Showtime, but they aren't really going to be calling him.
:rofl:rofl You're ****in delusional you mentally challenged twat!! You tried to tell posters you were a former world champ FFS... atsch
Do you guys see GBP having fighters on the network anytime soon though? I'm quite sure they'll work together again, GBP and HBO are too big to not work with each other again. Also, was this before Schaefer did that whole spill on bscene? Just wondering if relations were strained even more after that...
Ha I'm not this guy you love, yeah *******, *****s and Pacturds don't like it but I am, find one example were I gave a double standard. You see I don't care Peterson is black I treat him like Pacquiao who I treat like Floyd find one example where I had a double standard and I'll leave the site
There's a big difference between "I'll take his call" and "we're working together." They'll do a fight together sometime. Both sides are just wanting the other to call so they can feel like they have the upper hand in the relationship. One of two calls will happen: "Hi, HBO, this is Oscar and I have a great fight that I would like you to bid on" which really means "Showtime isn't offering as much for this fight as I want" OR "Oscar, we'd like to put one of your fighters on WCB the last Saturday of ____" which really means "we can't make enough quality fights without you."
That's what I figured.. I just don't see the phone call being soon. Too big not to do business forever, but egos too big to have one side squash it anytime soon.
theyll work together again, especially once marquez and pac calls it quits which will be next year i'm positive
