Did George Foreman do any weight training?

    Heard he barely touched weights. Was he really that genetically gifted?

    I know during his return, he pulled cars, chopped wood, etc.. Real "strong man competition" ****.

    Actually, if I remember correctly, Gil Clancy was training him at the time and was telling him he needed to speed up his punches and to drop the weight lifting.

    In his comeback he did strongman training Like the dude above already said. An lol 800 pound bench. Probably around 400

    Somebody from the Foreman fan club will have to confirm it...but I heard During the first part of his career, he was actually on a restricted diet to keep him "light" because they thought it would benefit his stamina. But all it did was make him irritable. I though I heard him say his "ideal" weight was 235.

    Right/Wrong ?
