He will be right back to where he was right after his next knockout.

Maybe to the casuals looking for a guaranteed KO, his stock fell.

I thought he put up a great boxing class and impressed me with his defence, jab, uppercut and stamina. Jacobs was a game opponent but ultimately fell short.

I think that the quality of this win will become apparent over time.

Its fair to say the PPV draw market is driven by casuals, all these supposed hardcore fans telling their casual friends that GGG is a combo of Prime King Kong, Prime Godzilla, Ali, Tyson and Sugar Ray in one, and then he gets his ass beat and gifted a win!!!! The casuals must be face palming at you guys now and wondering why you always believe the hype.

That's actually a fair point. If you think about it, it was the casuals that drove the frenzy and sales for May/Pac; the boxing guys knew that Pac was over the hill and that May was likely to win.

I have to wonder if you really believe that or if you're just salty about it. It seemed pretty clear to me that Golovkin put on a great show of boxing (including his supposed dodgy defense) and that Jacobs was taking the more numerous and harder shots. I'll have to try pretend I'm a Jacobs fan and watch it again from that pov. Maybe it's close enough that I can convince myself Danny wuz robbed, though I doubt it.

For GGG to be compared to Ronda, Jacobs would have to beat him up pillar to post and KO him late in the fight.

Considering james thinks both guys were the same size (I mean...seriously...same size??) and had been harping for over a year now about his 3G is a HUGE weight cutter (Despite no evidence to support)), I get the impression he's just not very astute.

Lance, I think you are being unkind here. James is clearly vision impaired, instead of calling him out for his crappy posts, you should start a collection for extra-strength prescription glasses for him! :)

Aw ****, we are doing the "giant killer" Myth again?? If 6'5 was the average, I'm sure you can give me 3 examples of guys that Tyson KO'd that were 6'3 or taller and weren't complete stiffs.

Why even respond to people like James?? He's not willing or just too ****ing stupid to have an actual debate with reasonable opinions and/or facts so what's the point?

You really need to take some medications for your mental illness. All this stuff only goes on in your head. You know, with the weight cutting 180+ pound 3G you've created in your mind.
