Did Golovkin TRULY prove he was the most powerful puncher that Canelo Alvarez faced?

Did Gennady Golovkin really prove, he was a more powerful puncher than Canelo's past opponents?

i saw them both hurt but they both buckled under and kept up the fight, whether they chose to slow down for a bit or back off a little.

So the question is, why was Canelo ABLE to walk through Golovkin's punching power, in the same way he was able to walk through Erislandy Lara's and Amir Khan's punching power, if Golovkin really were to be such a powerful puncher or even a puncher who had more power than Canelo's past opponents?

Do you realize how embarrassing and shameful it is for Golovkin, when such a thing happens?

Why couldn't Golovkin do to Canelo with his power, what Canelo's past opponents couldn't do? I.E. Drop Canelo to the canvas or straight up KO him? Or are you willing to admit that Golovkin really doesn't punch harder or with more power than Canelo's past opponents?

If Golovkin 'hurt' Canelo, then what evidence is there to show for it? In other words, what evidence is there, of Canelo 'hurting' Golovkin more than Canelo's past opponents have?

Facial damage is an indicator of damage inflicted with one's power. If that's irrelevant, then what is relevant? No knockdowns or KO's in 24 rounds suggests Golovkin's power was nothing special or more specifically, no more special than Canelo's past opponent's power. Since just like Canelo's past opponents (none of them who were known to be devastating power punchers), Golovkin also failed to drop / KO Canelo. In other words, proving Golovkin is no more special than those past opponents Canelo faced.

Golovkin's 24 rounds of flush punching appeared to be coming from the hands of a 10 year old, girly little sissy who couldn't even crack an egg. Canelo looked like he was TICKLING from those feather fisted refreshments coming from the hands of the INSANE and the OTHERWORDLY type of the feather fist that is Golovkin.

Unless Golovkin drops Canelo once in his lifetime, or any ELITE opponent, we're going to have to TOTALLY disregard Golovkin's power as nonexistent at the relevant level (elite level).

I could care less how many Mathew Macklins this Golovkin KO's. When it mattered most, such as against Daniel Jacobs and Canelo Alvarez, Golovkin looked like he couldn't even crack an egg and looked like he turned into a little 10 year old girl in terms of punching power.

Wasn't aware we was even having a conversation.

So you don't think GGG was feeling those shots to the body from Canelo? Canelo was hurt more upstairs for sure but I thought he was absolutely feeling the grind

Yes, GGG hurt Canelo late in the 2nd fight. Never saw him that hurt.

Canleo has a god chin and defense, that is for sure, but he did not win either fight, and fought GGG at 36 on the decline.

Golovkin punches harder... if he doesn't, who would you say punches harder? Canelo has a great chin. You dont judge a man's power on what he does to another man's face... in some cases you don't judge a man's power on another man's reaction to the punch. Oliver McCall and David Tua had the ability to block the hardest punches ever thrown with there faces and keep moving forward.

Golovkin is better than Clenelo, get over it. Just because a few judges picked the wrong guy doesn't change anything. Dont get me wrong Alvarez is a great fighter but he has yet to prove he is better than GGG.

Exactly. Jacobs was over 180 Lbs. when he fought GGG and he still got dropped early.

Clenelo got busted twice and only got a 6 month suspension. I only bring it up because it helps tell the tale. Canelo Alvarez is young and talented and still has a lot left. He is a big money fighter. If the fight is close or even somewhat close he is going to get favorable scoring. Thats just the way it is and I think it's bullsh!t. If Golovkin was a Golden Boy fighter and Alvarez wasn't who do you think the decisions would have went to in those two fights?

both lara and 3G are dangerous punchers, of course.

Its a double proof, not a a proof of a negative.
