If my experiences in Brazil & Colombia are irrelevant in your opinion, then why was East Philly relevant when Floyd is from Grand Rapids, Michigan?

 

Salford is worse than Longsight and Moss Side. I happily walk around Longsight and although Moss Side has a bit of an atmosphere, again I don't feel on edge there. Salford is a ****ing hell hole.....Salford, Gorton, Blackley, Beswick etc.....nasty places to live.
Moss Side and Longsight are just bad for shootings and gangs, but you are not likely to get glassed for walking into a pub and not being a regular or get your face bricked in for a laugh.

 

I mean East Philly, technically on the "9th biggest drug corner in Philadelphia" according to one magazine. And it's not bad here as far as violence at all.

Now North Philly or West Philly, now yer talkin. But I don't find East Philly scary at all compared to those two.

 

My Dad's from Beswick and my Mum's from Gorton - they both have ....shall we say... "interesting" stories from their childhoods! I lived mainly in Wythenshawe when I was there which is bad but not that bad I suppose.

It's been a while since I've been around there so you'd have a better idea than me. Salford was traditionally worse but I thought it had been cleaned up a bit... maybe I'm wrong.
