KT was a fight that they really wanted....I think that Hattons Dad running his mouth backed Ricky into a corner and really forced his boy to take this fight. Cuz even up to the last days they were looking to get other fighters in the ring.

The more wary Hatton is, the better -fullstop-

it's called having alternative options, it's obvious that talks have been going on for a while now. it was clear he wanted pbf when he said what he (ricky) said after beating jlc and has stated on numerous occasions since castillo that he wanted pbf, it's nothing to do with his father backing him into a corner.

they waited for koysta knowing he was the best in the division, and he wasn't coming back from an injury he was coming back off of a 3 round demolition of sharmba mitchell.

Hatton looked real scared stating he wanted Zoo all those times and threatening to walk from Warren if he didn't get him. And OMG he looked terrified in the ring with Kostya, I mean he ran from him all night long.

Ricky will probably expect Mayweather to run a lot in the fight similarly to how he did against Floyd. Before the Kostya fight he would have expected Kostya to be willing to stand and fight.

I therefore think, Ricky would have had more confidence in fighting and beating Kostya than he would Mayweather - but on the flip side he would have more fear of getting KOed against Kostya.

Hatton was certainly never afraid of Tszyu. All we heard from Hatton's team before the fight was how much of a better infighter Hatton was and that would be the difference maker. Not that many people really believed that would indeed be what decided the fight, but Hatton and his people were proved correct.

With Mayweather I doubt he's afraid either. But there's no doubt this is a tougher fight than against Tszyu. Tszyu was an excellent fighter and one of the best fighters between 135 and 147 at the time, but Mayweather is just different. He's one of the best fighters period, even ever, and he's right at the top of his game.

Hatton will feel he can win the fight. He's not scared and this "he's been backed into a corner" stuff is nonsense. He believes in himself.

There is no way is Hatton scared or intimidated by PBF.
Kostya had miles more concussive power than pitter patter floyd.
I just hope that he can get inside against Floyd and get to work on those ribs.

If a 5"11 160 pound DLH could not rough up PBF no way a 5"5. less skilled Hatton roughs up PBF--- get real. Hatton will never fight at 147 again after Floyd beats his head in. all that **** Hatton talked is going to come right out his mouth as he regurgitates from PBF combinations when they meet. I see Hatton getting owned easily

I thought so. At that time, KT was high on the P4P list (around 2 or 3). And Hatton's style was supposedly a treat for KT.
