Not for a moment was Pac hurt. Pac was focused on timing his punch on Hatton's chin.

Watching the fight it looked as though Hatton briefly staggered Pac with a body shot, however after watching it a few times it became clear that Hatton was standing on his foot and Pac was simply off balance.

 This pretty much sums up the sheer belief Hatton fans have in their boy. I mean why on earth is this a 4 page thread summising the semantics of IF Pac was hurt by a punch from Hatton in a fight that Hatton lost decisively and humiliatingly. Il never understand for the life of me why they hang on to if's but's and maybe's as though they have some relavence. Realistically even if Hatton did hurt Pac did it have any difference on the outcome? Why dissect a minute portion of the fight that has no relavence to the outcome of the bout which was Hatton laying face up on the canvass?

Pac wasn't that hurt and he handled well the power of a natural light welter Hatton. Any fighter from a lower class weight could have easily panicked or got out cold by a bigger fighter. Unfortunately for Ricky he looked like he wasn't the one acting confident as a light welter in that ring. Besides he normally surprises us boxing fans a lot of times in each of his fight performances, IMO there is an unusual characteristic of Pac who has the ability to adapt and adjust in a certain level of competition. Let us wait and see of how Manny Pacquiao performs against Cotto wether he gets raped or he makes Miguel a pretty fairy in fight night. I hope they won't suspect Pac adding substance in his hands too if end result goes unfavorable to Cotto.

I think what everyone is talking about is at 4:35 when Ricky lands a punch and the commentators start wetting themselves over it. It looked like it got Pacs attention but that's all.
