In the wake of the CAlzaghe/Hopkins fight. WHilst grasng at strawa as to why he won B-Hop said , "just look at our two faces, I dont have a mark and yet he is all bust up". HArdly busted up with a small cut on the nose from a headbutt but hey thats by the by.

It got me to thinking of fights where the winner was significantly more bashed up then the loser? What do you guys recollect?

I'll start with SRR v Randolph Turpin 2

plus mpost of Henry Coopers fights that he won because he was so prone to cut himself.

Pretty much all the early Hatton scraps.

He had to have surgery in his youth to remove vaseline which had solidified - this being knocked caused the cuts.

He also had his trainer doubling as his cutsman, then brought in Mick 'The Knife' Williamson, who is probably the leading cuts man in the game.

    Bob Mirovic vs Rob Calloway

Though Big Bob's jaw was broken and you could clearly see it.

The whole right (I think) side of Calloway's face was a mess. And both eyes were nearly closed.
