Did Hearn have links with Carlos Ortiz Jr(Idiot judge who gave 8rds to Burns)

    Carlos Ortiz jr, the ***** judge who scored the fight 115-112(8rds to 4) to Burns was also the judge for Geale vs Barker and scored the fight for Barker 114-113.

    Now you may not think there was anything controversial about his scoring for Geale-Barker but i bet he was wined and dined by Hearn after the Barker fight and promised work in Britain if he was "helpful" to Matchroom fighters. Seems strange of all the judges in America, he was 'chosen'!

    I think a full investigation should be made into the links between Hearn and Ortiz jr and why Ortiz jr was brought over as a judge so soon after also scoring a close fight for another one of Hearns fighters.

    Also despite his hispanic name, Ortiz jr comes from Queens, New York which probably makes him Puerto Rican who are known to be the best of enemies with Mexicans which is what Ray Beltran is. There is no way you could give 8rds to Burns unless you were on the take and corrupt...bet he stayed in a luxury hotel for his stay in Scotland with a nice brown envelope under the door for spending money!

    If you were on the take, surely you'd score it to Burns by a round to make it look less obvious?

    I don't think there's anything sinister about it, Carlos Ortiz Jr is just a **** part of a shitty system.

    Its simple. Bad judging. The crowd going ape **** when burns let's his hands go whether it lands or not. That influenced him and also after the knockdown Beltran struggled to finish him off so when burns does a abit better in the next few rounds judges can get carried away and give him rounds when he just did abit better and didn't actually win the round

    How is 115-112 close???


    It was more like 116-111 from where I was sitting. Beltran completely bossed the fight which is why there was deadly silence ringside when the draw was announced. Everybody and their mother knew Beltran was robbed.


    Yes it was a robbery, this fight wasn't in any way close.


    The WBO were involved so I'd believe anything.

    I think Eddie knows he's in a dodgy position here so thought it'd be best for his reputation if he was just honest hence why he said yesterday that Beltran won
