Holyfield, never known as a massive puncher and fresh from the cruiser weight division rattled him several times, lyle had him all over the place aswell when he was younger and a fighters chin gets weaker, not stronger with age

No, I think Foreman's chin was rated higher after the Holyfield fight.

    Holyfield stopped Tyson.
Holyfield badly hurt Ray Mercer and scored a knock down against him. Lennox Lewis (great Puncher) couldn't do it.

Considering how much Holyfield hit George, if anything it's the other way around. The Lyle fight was also after the Ali fight where George wasn't the same guy he had been prior.

He wasnt fresh from cruiser. He had nearly ten fights at heavy, had packed on nearly 20lbs of muscle and went on to be one of the greatest heavyweights ever. If anything its it enhaces Foremans reputation for having a great chin given the beating he took and the age he took it.

George was never significantly hurt without taking multiple blows from a reasonably hard puncher.

George said that old, drunken shell him of himself version of C00NEY hit him harder than anyone ever did. I know George has said this about a few people, but it's still a testament to how hard GC could hit.

What? I thought it was the contrary. He also beat a young Briggs, a really big puncher. I have huge respect for Foreman.

Holyfield hurt almost everyone he fought until he got really old.

Foreman could take a punch. Lyle had a lot of power... keep in mind that they fought after his loss to Ali and before his comeback in 1987. Jimmy Young dropped Foreman in 1977 and he was not known for his power... Foreman's mind wasn't right after his loss to Ali. It took years.

Holyfield knocked out the first 7 Heavyweights he faced then Foreman went the distance.

Holyfield wasn't a murderous knockout artist, but he could pop. He also had excellent timing and could find ways to land sharp shots that opponents couldn't anticipate.

Then I guess Tyson doesn't have a "rock jaw" either, right?. Idiot.
