Did he really say that? Great to see racism alive and well outside the US as well. Makes the ass-whooping Hagler put on him that much more satisfying. Marvelous. :good

It's amazing that years later the Calzaghe v Hopkins fight is still getting batted about on ESB. It was a dreadful fight (thanks to Hopkins) but it's definitely struck a nerve with boxing fans. And, yes, Calzaghe won.

Both didn't deserve to win **** in this fight, Calzaghe ain't land one significant punch and Hopkins ran and faked low blows for a good 8 rounds.

Yes hopkins was spanked by his Daddy Sugar Joe Calzaghe quite handily, in America of all places. If you own this device caled "TV" you could have watched it unfold before your own eyes in color so you could see the "white boy" beating him to the punch time and time again. Bernards acting lessons seemed to payed off well as he fell to his knees and begged Ole Sugar Joe to stop whoopin him ,but to no avail. Bernard was so messed up after the Paddling he received in the post fight interview he claimed Calzaghe punched him in the "Crouch" (whatever the hell that means). Somebody should have told Pascal all he had to do was find this elusive "Crouch" and he could have dominated like Joe C.

Apparently it's allowed in the LHW division.

    Brother, you are SO WRONG.

One: Hopkins was outslapped in a very close fight. Several down to earth ESB-members have went through the pain to trying to score the mess, most of them came to the conclusion that Joe edged it. Not only for beeing the agressor, but for landing more slaps. Schooling means dominating the fight, not lose by SD.

Two: Lewis handed Vitalis ass to him.

i wonder if compubox counted shots to the shoulder. anybody with eyes can see that they were hittin mostly there. he had a few good shots calslappy did but no way did he land 200+ shots. does that mean he didnt win? no. hopkins frankly didnt do enough. just like both the taylor fights. slappy did more even tho he didnt land or hurt hopkins. 15 punches a round aint gonna win when the guy is throwin almost 4 times what u throw. even if a few land. judges sometimes give it to the agressive fighter

Everybody has to fight Bernard's fight specially if they are not patient enough to turn the tide and increase the tempo. Joe didn't land clean but he did drive a lot of scoring shots home. I am not saying he looked good doing so either cause he had a bad time in adjust to the proper distance and stepping up the pace midway down the stretch... Enzo most definitely feared the worse but he didn't rationalize on a loss, no sir, he definitely said that "this guy is begging to be stopped" so how could he not think otherwise in the aftermatch?

Lets not try and make something up because the fight was a SD. So was Lewis/Holyfield 1. You get some odd judging, remember Whitaker/Chavez MD?
Look at points 5, 7 & 8 highlighted in red below
    Calzaghe won a clear decision
