Did Hopkins Go All Out Against De La Hoya?

    Not brothers but partners. Two weeks after that so-called fight it was announced that Hopkins was part of GBP. That's when it was ANNOUNCED to the public but I truly believe that was established between GBP and Hopkins before they fought. That was not a fight it was a sparring exhibition. I watched that fight with a good friend of mine, a former lightweight champ of the world Ruben Navarro and he was laughing throughout the fight. He said the same thing, nothing but sparring. Hopkins took it easy on Oscar that night. No doubt!

    He fought a lot more conservatively than was neccessary. I've never even rated this win.

    Stupid thread heading. Everyone knows he didn't "go all out". The question should be based around on "why he never"

    no he always holds back. that cost him the calzaghe fight. if he went for the finish after the knock down in the 1st round. things could of been different
