did hopkins only get 3mill

    Just read that Hopkins only got 3 mill. Taylor wanted 6 against Calzaghe and Kessler will get at least 5 mill fighting Calzaghe.

    I thought Hopkins was a big draw. How much did Winky get ?

    Will Calzaghe be the biggest moneymaker in 2007 or is DLH unbeatable, mooneywise

    This fight had the added bonus of being an "in house" fight in the GBP organization. So I suspect that both fighters got to take home more of their respective purses. Plus there was no sanctioning fee. Just the "ring belt" up for grabs.

    DLH must have cleared 30 million or more for his fight, I don't think anyone can earn that with a couple fights, judging on what's been done so far this year.
