Chavez won a close one,but he was in deep with not a top notch fighter. This puts things into perspective.
On a side note, although I don't understand Spanish, the motor mouth announcer talks more than the bombastic Colonel Sheridan, which I thought was impossible. Also, what the **** with Julio's old man taking control of the corner in a tuxedo? This would not be allowed in the States as he was not a sanctioned cornerman.:tired

Holy crap man! 100-90 was a real robbery for Vanda, he definetely deserved a closer card after a great effort.

I gotta rewatch it and score it. Chavez took a lot of the early rounds so a close victory is not out of the question.

This should be a lesson for Jr. to get his act together in training and train his ass for the full 12 rounds. I think he really though it was gonna be an early night.

Vanda won that fight...BS decision to the hometown kid....100-90...that's ludicrous...

Chavez is going to get owned once he fights a top-10 guy. He was hit flush so much...If Vanda had power the fight would have been over in the 8th round.

Chavez really won but by a point...Both run out of gas badly. But because Vanda keep wobbling, he lost to some judges eyes. But on the other hand, Vanda is the one connecting and hitting more than Chavez.

I think 1 of the judge is drunk its...97-93 Chavez, 96-95 Vanda and 100-90 Chavez....damn scoring.

LOLZ at Round 1 with Koki vs Montiel.... The audience ain't watching the fight... they're all watching the other side of the crowd because of the riot happening.

Koki won by TKO 2nd round

Montiel took a lot of body shots and fell on the canvass 3 times at 2nd round

I didn't see the fight, did Vanda clearly win some rounds that the judge blatantly ignored (like Lewis/Holyfield round 5) or did the judge just give every benefit of the doubt to Chavez?
