Did it feel weird seeing Manny on the floor?

I'm still young and relatively new to boxing and this is probably the first time I have seen someone I really admire from my era.. actually humbled.

Don't get me wrong, I love Marquez and think the KO was devastatingly brilliant.

As much as I felt the fight HAD to end in a KO for either man, seeing him knocked down in the 3rd and then completely out cold didn't sit well with me, and it still doesn't. And I know he has been knocked out before, but that long before he became the force he was.

Can anyone else relate to what I'm saying?

Not half as sick as I felt when Roy Jones hit the floor from Tarver.

This is payback for all the Americans, Mexicans, Brits, and Puerto Ricans who felt the same way when Pacquiao was still at the top of his game.

It wasn't awkward for me swing him like the first knockdown, I saw it coming but the second knockdown- you definitely felt somewhat anxious.

I knew it was a matter of time once Mayweather raised the issue of PEDs. Whatever 'vitamins' Manny used to take he stopped because he knew he could be tested anytime. It wasnt just him, generally Roach's fighters have been getting demolished.
Manny is a good fighter no doubt but I never gave him the respect because of the catchweights.Draining other fighters then claiming to be a 6 weight division Champion never sat well with me.From a humanitarian perspective I obviously did not enjoy seeing him cold on the canvass and neither did I enjoy seeing Jinky in such distress. The only thing that I liked was he lost to a legend who's 39yrs old and not some youngster who caught him on the way down. The fighter could have gone either way,Marquez could have been knocked out as well.I just hope Manny retires and concentrate on politics and business.

    I thought he was dead.

Susprised doctors allowed him to get up.

Look at the footwork from the overhead camera...

Pacquiao literally jumped into his right hand and when it landed tripped over Marquez's lead foot with Marquez finishing the job off with a small left hand to the body pushing him over

    Crazy.

Yeah seeing him knocked out like that reminds me of those many youtube videos of guys being knocked out cold, with their arms slanted to their side a little. It is quite shocking for us to see his aura as the one of the best fighters in this era be completely diminished in just one punch. He is a certain top 25 ATG but is not one of the leading fighters in todays boxing anymore after that punch by Juan
