Even if Oscar was the "aggressor" that has nothing to do with the scoring. Yeah Oscar land some good shots in the fight but it was Floyd land more cleaning (which is factored into the scoring btw) and a lot more often.
Since they are now polling for pollitics at the casinos why dont they also just put little poll boxes in the back of every single arena seat at the MGM Grand boxing matches and then publish the vote? Then Floyd and Oscar wont have anymore excuses about who they should fight. Heck it might even be fun and draw more fans
I could give him rounds 2,3,4,6,7,8 making it a draw. There was no other round he could reasonably get. I understand some gave him 12, but I can't see it. I think the decision was fair. It will likely be by a wider margin next time. But he has a shot.
He's doing it for the money. I believe most guys would do the same thing as Floyd and take the big payday, but it is what it is, a fight that will do wonders for his bank account but little for his all-time standing.
He did that against Castillo. Many thought it was controversial the first time, so they rematched. That's what real Champions do. Cotto should rematch Mosley. (This time, De la Hoya - Mayweather is only about the money. I don't see any problem about it).
Neither will I. The skinny little guy doesn't do anything for me, and wait until he gets hit by a man.:smoke
