He did draw the color line once he became champ, since it worked to his advantage in both that he made more money fighting white fighters and he eliminated black contenders by default. In an interview from one of my old Time magazines George Godfrey was asked about his thoughts on Johnson drawing the color line once he got the title. Godfrey said if he had been in Johnson’s position he would’ve did the same thing.

I asked you to produce a primary sourced offer of $30,000 that Johnson refused to defend against either Langford,Jeannette, or McVey,now, 6 years after you made this post you still haven't produced a single ONE!
Neither you, nor Mendoza has ever produced proof that Johnson refused to fight any of the black trio IF his terms were met!

Johnson agreed to defend against Jeannette in NY twice, both times the NYAC vetoed the fights and threatened any promoter who put them on with having their licence withdrawn, they and the promoters ,the McMahon brother's made public statements stating their reasons.I have posted them here 3 times
.Johnson agreed to fight both Langford and Mcvey in a 2 fight deal in Australia, when Johnson jumped bail and the lurid details of his case hit the headlines the Australian public went against Johnson and the prospective promoter Hugh D McIntosh withdrew his offer and made a public statement explaining why. I have posted this twice.
"As a result of all the legal trouble,Hugh McIntosh called off Johnson's fights with Langford and McVey.McIntosh cabled that the Australian sporting public were disgusted by Johnson's relations with the Cameron girl. The allegations had so angered the Australian sporting public as to make Johnson a doubtful attraction, even though he was the world champion.Hence the matches were no longer desirable" Jack Johnson The Reign by Adam Pollack page 669.
Johnson cabled an offer to defend against McCarty in Canada, now a promoter Tommy Burns refused it saying Johnson was too disreputable a character to promote.Burns wanted his meal ticket Arthur Pelkey to fight McCarty ,which he did with tragic results.

On October 12th 1912 Johnson agreed to defend against Langford and McVey in Australia for $55,000 plus$5000 training expenses, plus 5 round trip tickets

You have been beaten so badly on this topic, you must be comfortably numb by now.

" When Jack became champion he forgot his old friends and drew the color line again hi own people " - Joe Jeannette. OUCH.

Johnson had numerous offers to fight Jeannette, Langford, and McVey in MULTIPLE locations you dumb F! Years on in, and you still trying to take one small thing, blow it up and act like that was it while ingnoring the rest.

The Frech for example where Johnson had no such issues such as the politics of New York state striped Johnson because he would not defend vs Langford. And as we know Tony, your wife beating idol pulled out of a singed contact to meet Langford as champion.

By the way, you said you know the purse between Jack Johnson and Jim Battling Johnson. You're a liar, tell us the exact amount!

If you search around, Johnson had plenty of offers to fight Langford, McVey or Jeanette. Fact is he never did. He even pulled out of a signed contract to fight Langford as champion in 1909. It's true.

Here's one in 1911, I'm sure the poster McVey will come up with an excuse for this year! But he can not.

1 ) He had plenty of chances to fight them before the Mann Act charge as champion.

2 ) He broke a signed contract to fight Langford as the lineal champion in 1909.

3 ) Johnson could have fought anyone he wanted to in France or Australia, away from USA politics of the times. He didn't meet the best. Promoters and his own manager ripped him.

He signed to fight Langford in London when he was a challenger[October 1908]Bettinson had him over a barrel Johnson agreed to fight for $3000,after winning the title in December of that year he announced his price for a title defence was $30,000 the same as Burns had received for defending against him. ps.McIntosh withdrew his offer for Johnson to defend against Langford and McVey and I posted his public statement on here twice

You can only fight whom promoters are prepared to select for you to fight.Theodore Vienne offered Johnson$25,000 to defend against Jeannette over 30rds.Johnson as champion would not consent to fight for that amount or for the 30rds distance his prerogative. All this is well documented and I've posted it several times. You're really desperate here aren't you?lol

According to McVey the offer was withdrawn. Can you put up any source saying Johnson pulled out?
