Khytrov is an entertaining fighter but fairly limited. You'd think he'd have more dimensions with all that amateur experience.

Bottom line? Khytrov has a glass jaw. You need a chin to go places in boxing and this guy just doesn't have the mandible for this game.

There are many more L by KO's in his future. Chins matter, people!

Novice contender looks to have a few wrinkles to iron out! Shock horror!

You guys are weird AF. We get a possible fight of the year with non stop action between two undefeated fighters and suddenly the loser is a bum? There will always be a loser in a contest and Khytrov showed a heart of a lion. Aleem was a better fighter, plain and simple. He may be a better fighter overall or just had a night of his life but we as boxing fans definitely won.

Aleem's style is just kyrptonite for someone like Khytrov.

True, which is why people will always be tuning in. He reminds me a little of Tommy Morrison in that respect - one of my favorite fighters, btw. In every fight, the opponent was at risk of being KOd, but so was Tommy himself. Same with Khytrov.

Khytrov didn't look awful in there. But his defence is simply not good enough for someone of his level of pedigree. If he were to iron that flaw out (admittedly it is a big one) he could get himself into contention. He has a lot going for him. He not many people possess his engine and punching power. If he could get into range without taking so many punches he could overwhelm a fair few opponents. At the moment he is too one dimensional.
