I've several times seen claims thats Jim Jeffries broke the ribs of three opponents.Tom Sharkey,Gus Ruhlin, and Jim Corbett. I beleive the claim about Sharkey is substantiated but I have never read any primary source that proves either Corbett's or Ruhlin's ribs were broken against Jeffries. Jeffries himself mentions Sharkey receiving damaged ribs ,in their second fight but he does not say anything about breaking either Corbett's or Ruhlin's ribs .Does anyone have solid proof that this occurred?
