    Patterson vs McNeely. Did Jersey Joe Walcott not give McNeely enough opportunity to come back and win?

    I like how Walcott just ignored the 6th knockdown. Pretty remarkable that McNeeley hurt Patterson after the 7th knockdown. Also impressive that McNeeley fought just six weeks after this in a losing effort to Don Prout. Entering the Patterson fight was a 22-0 record, McNeeley would finish his career 15-14, including the Patterson loss.

    Walcott thought that his 1947 version could have easily handled McNeely
