Did Jesse Ferguson fight Tyson in a similar fashion to how Ali fought Foreman?

This is the most punches ever thrown in a Tyson fight, this is what would have happened if Ali tried the rope a dope on Tyson, his body shots would have got under the elbows like they did here but he would get caught by loads of counters.

No, Ali didn't get knocked out. Or get his nose bone pushed into this brain,

What I meant wa Ferguson was laying the roes with his gloves up for most of this fight like Ali vs Foreman but Tyson`s body punches were short and accurate compared to Foreman`s and he peirced the guard better than Foreman did, I know Ali threw more counters and they were faster and more powerful, I just found it interesting that Fergie was using rope a dope style tactics vs Tyson.

He also landed more than any of Tyson`s other opponents during the Rooney era, except for Tillis.

He was on the ropes to buy time and rest. He certainly wasn't making Tyson punch himself out while avoiding most of the blows-like Ali did.

So, I think neither the intent nor the result was like AIi's rope a dope against Foreman.
