He was discovered to be using tapeworm after his three world title wins, particularly when he defended the title outpointing Pappy Gault. I read this on Wikipedia and also read about tapeworm but not enough to inform myself much on the latter subject, which is why Im here asking. Is tapeworm as bad as plaster of Paris or removing hair from the glove? Was Carruthers another Margarito or Resto? Did it give him an unfair advantage?
