TS is an asshat. Why does the loser of every fight have to be labeled overrated, ruined, washed-up, damaged goods, glass-jawed, faded, past it, etc?
No Joe did not ruin Kessler and neither did last night,he learned a lot in the Calzaghe fight, last night was without doubt a bad night for Mikkel but he has not been matched properly since the Joe fight. Now he has had a proper fight,he will be dissapointed but will know it was a clash of styles and the butts did not help either.Mikkel will look forward to the Froch fight, there will be no messing about in that match and i think Kessler nd Taylor will both win thir next fights which will make the super 6 very interesting.
no he did not. he still fights much the same. maybe exposed. yes i used that word. it was shown how to beat him and to confirm it andre ward executed a gameplan that took advantage of the lapses he has.
WARD IS A FRAUD........FACT. This fight MUST be changed to a NO CONTEST. Team Ward have BLATANTLY broken the rules of the super 6 tournament. 1. 2 home judges/changed to 1 = NOT LEGAL 2. 1 home town referee = NOT LEGAL 3. Ward refuses to fight abroad = NOT LEGAL 4. 5 YES 5 counted headbutts = NOT LEGAL 3 patent infringements of the super 6 rules and 1 that should/would have been resolved with a LEGAL referee. This fight was staged to keep American interest in the Super 6 and has proved without doubt to have been a corrupt contest. Ward is NOT the WBA champion......FACT!
Firstly, I'd check your facts before you go pronouncing them as FACTS! lol Secondly, unintentional headbutts are not illegal. Only intentional headbutts are illegal... Thirdly, Ward beats Kessler handilly in Denmark, with 3 danish born Germans (or German born Danish) judges and a danish referee. Probably 116-112, 117-111ish (barring a potential knockdown or 2). Wards just the better fighter. THAT, my friend, is the only FACT here.
BTW, was this thread started by a Calzaghe fan in an attempt to make Calzaghe's win over Kessler seem as over-rated as it was before Saturday night? If so, it certainly back-fired.
Joe showed me that Kessler has next to no ability for fighting on the back foot/ countering and taken advantage of brief openings in the opponent's defence. Kessler likes to set the pace and dominate with his jab and 1-2 combination. Joe took that away from him and made him look like a stiff limited robotic fighter from round 6 onwards.
A few things happened Kessler has been too inactive he looked a bit flat Ward was wild with his head ( you could argue the ref should have done something but he didnt so........) and finally and most importantly Ward fought really well. He saw the few things that Kessler does badly ( i.e not moving his head ) and took advantage of them.
kessler hasnt been the same boxer since his loss to calzaghe but no excuses ward was better than i thought he would be.
Hey brah, do me a favor and point out this "vicious headbutt" in the 2nd you speak of on the video because I've been looking for it and can't seem to find it. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8I0ke00I7U[/ame]
I am a Calzaghe fan but the thread was made to get a sense of what people genuinely felt about the question, not to try to get a certain response in the poll.
Lmao, ruined is getting a right hand from Thomas Hearns in the second round(yet Duran still went on to do great things)GETTING OUT BOXED DOESNT RUIN YOU. (especially with a broken hand excuse)
