Did Joe Cortez ruin Hatton vs Mayweather?

The Ref didnt Knock out hatton, Floyd did..

Cortez showed blatant favoritism in Floyd's favor in the ring, allowing Floyd to get away with dirty tactics while not allowing Hatton to do the same or fight inside much. He posed like he was a star with Floyd after the fight in a further display of bias. Including/since that fight, Cortez has done little but show incompetence in his officiating. All that said, Hatton was never going to beat Floyd regardless, just a different class of fighter. He might have made it the distance without Cortez's antics, but he wouldn't have won the fight.

Yes. I personally like to see a bit of inside fighting.

 

The overall result would have not been any different, but I think Hatton would have given a better account of himself had he been able to fight his normal kind of fight and given Mayweather some rougher moments on the inside before getting KO'ed.

I agree & i'am no Hatton fan. But as far as i'am concerned Oscar had a word in the ear of Cortez such as "Don't you dare **** up my re-match with Floyd" This is a bizzness after all & there's no ****in way that Mayweather was leaving that ring a loser period:deal

Never mind all of Oscars theatrics at ringside waiving his arms around like a raped seagull protesting at Cortez's spoiling in the early rounds. People should just study Cortez's face in those early rounds, blatant bias & he could'nt wait to take a point off of Hatton & once he's seen the tide turn then he eased off Hatton. Gotta look at the bigger Vegas picture here, all but for the emotional & the blind that is:deal

Yeah, Cortez should've let them fight a no holds barred fight. No rules. Biting, kicking the groin, knee to the head should've been allowed. Pacquiaos fans, yeah Cortez ****ed up, Floyds fans, Cortez did a great job, boxing fans: Boxing won out!
