Did Joe Louis' comeback damage his legacy ?

    The idea that Marciano would beat the best Louis is pure revisionist thinking. No credible historian ever rated Marciano over Louis. Nor have I ever heard a credible trainer state that they felt Louis would lose to Rocky.

    Rocky was great BUT he was an undefeated hwt champion that no one ever rated the greatest. There is a reason for this.
