    He couldn't crack?

    I hear it said that there was no such thing as an iron chin against Joe Louis and by and far that seemed to be true.

    But most ATG punchers have run into chins they couldn't dent. Lennox Lewis' career is an exercise in this, Tyson against Green, Tucker, and so on.

    How about Louis?

    Tommy Farr was a slick, difficult fighter when he took a prime Louis the full fifteen.

    Not coincedentally, he didn't get a rematch.

    Tony Galento took so many of Louis' punches Louis nearly wore out hitting him
    Louis really hacked him to the floor rather than knocked him out
    great chin on Galento

    Farr would be my choice, In rematchs, Prime Louis always seems to get the knockout.
