Started off okay, hurt Rossito early and looked like it would be a blow out Looked slow handed, and plodding, struggled with the awkward southpaw who was spoiling and running Was about 4-0 up At around round 5 or 6 he completely gassed it, and Rossito came back into it winning several rounds and evening it up Banks had a big last round, and got generous scores from the judges. Could have been a draw.

Banks looked awful, really bad. On that performance Fragomeni or Gurov would beat him. He's nowhere near the top names in the division.
Lucky to win IMO.The reaction of both fighters before the decision spoke volumes for me.Banks was resigned to defeat and looked embarrased to recieve the belt.Gassed out totaly after round 5.Klit looked the same and another kronk fighter Andy Lee was the same last time out when defeated.Is there something majorly wrong in the Kronk?
He gassed about half way and spent too much time on the ropes, letting himself get outworked by Rossito. Very unimpressive performance, a draw wouldn't have been a bad result. I don't see him becoming a player in the divison after what I saw.
Shocking stamina. Started well, gassed, got outworked and saved himself by winning the 12th. He looked slow and his power was average against a guy who's been stopped early before. I'm not sure if there was something else wrong with him beacause his performance dropped off shockingly from one round to the next. Either way, he was lucky to win; I had it even.
he also won the 'bubba/gump' trophy for the biggest bottom lip. the 'biggest fool' belt for his slow walk in...the 'most terrorfied fighter' of the night medal..
I have had fighters fight on Banks / Klitschko / Lee cards in Germany before and Banks has looked dominant because he has had fighters in front of him that were easy for him to beat.. This cat was a bit flabby, balding and a bit aged.. But his stamina made Banks look a disgrace. If a young man like Banks can't get his wind in order he has no business in the ring at top level.. He was a very lucky winner...... i had it even....... Very unenergetic... Macrinelli would beat the life outa him to be honest
I know they were talking about possibly facing Alexeev next, but I wouldn't touch that fight with a 10 foot pole if I were Banks after today.
Alexeev will murder today's version of Banks within three rounds.Banks doesnt play in Alexeev's league.He is out of shoes against the former Russian amateur star.
